A wheezy, lo-fi relic from the past—Phantom Organ delivers a broken vintage charm, with retuned options and a synth mode for real-time madness.
Phantom Organ is the ghost of a forgotten era—a once-glorious Graber Rogg CTX 1300 chord organ, left to rot in a damp cellar and reborn (odor-free) in digital form. These instruments, known for their charmingly awful one-finger chord buttons and wheezy fans, have long been abandoned—and now we know why.
But neglect has its rewards. What you get here is a beautifully ruined, wheezy, off-kilter sonic beast. Recorded in all its wobbly glory, Phantom Organ captures the spirit of this tragically charming relic… and then goes a few steps further.
Don’t worry if the musty nostalgia is too much:
✅ You get a retuned version that actually plays in key.
✅ Turn off the motor hum and noisy keys if you need to behave.
✅ Enjoy fast attack times (take that, sluggish real-world hardware).
✅ Or go wild in Synth Mode (Kontakt only) to wiggle, switch, and glitch like mad.
This isn’t your typical organ. It’s haunted, howling, and oddly lovable.
The instruments in Phantom Organ are delivered in two formats:
* Please note that this library requires the full version of Kontakt, not the free Kontakt Player. Some advanced features like the synth mode are only available in the Kontakt version.
